Samantha Boog’s dream to study medicine has had many a twist and turn. At school, she was told her marks wouldn’t be good enough – so she opted for pharmacy. Then she started having epileptic fits – not good for a medical career, she was told. But despite early set-backs – and being crippled with imposter syndrome – Sam never gave up on her dream, she’s now a fully committed medical student currently on a rural clinical placement in Forbes and well on her way.
